Exhaust Merge Collector Cutting Jig – 3-1, 4-1, 5-1, 6-1 & 8-1

This reusable cutting jig is designed to simplify the preparation of tube sections for custom exhaust merge collectors.

The markings integrated into the jig allow the same tool to be used for five collector configurations:

• 3-into-1
• 4-into-1
• 5-into-1
• 6-into-1
• 8-into-1

Choose the version that corresponds to the exact outside diameter of your tube. Each order includes one physical jig in the selected diameter. The different tube diameter versions are not supplied together.

How to use

Check the exact outside diameter of the tube.
Insert the tube into the jig.
Select the marking corresponding to the required collector configuration.
Position and rotate the tube as indicated.
Use the jig as a positioning guide for a suitable bandsaw, or trace the cutting line before cutting manually.
Deburr and prepare the cut tube sections.
Position and tack-weld the tubes before completing the final weld.

When using an angle grinder or another abrasive cutting tool, mark the tube first and remove the plastic jig before cutting.

Always measure the real outside diameter of the tube before ordering. Nominal pipe dimensions may differ from the actual outside diameter.
